A selection of four pairs of socks inspired by 1966's epic Le Mans 24h race, and the film made of this momentous event (Le Mans '66 or Ford v Ferrari).
The 34th Le Mans 24H was a race unlike any other, with Ford determined to break Ferrari's winning streak - and to do so in style. Carroll Shelby, co-driver of the 1959 Le Mans winner for Aston Martin, was the automotive engineer who developed Ford's GT40 and, together with Kevin Miles, set up the strategy that would beat Ferrari in such a dramatic way.
An exhibition of the film of this event is on permanent display in the 24H Museum at Le Mans.
